The 3M Jet-Melt Adhesive Bonding Systems have been specifically developed to provide a versatile and covenient method of joining a wide range of substrates used in manufacturing. The solid 'Jet Melt Sticks' are solvent free thermoplastic resins that become liquid when heated. There are different sticks available for bonding different substrates. Typical applications include plastic bonding, carton closing, electronics industry and in woodworking and furniture industries.  

3M Jet-Weld Adhesives are single component structural adhesives requiring no mixing. They give fast assemly times because they are self jigging and then build up strength by reaction with small amounts of moisture in the substrates. Fast assembly time, reduced floor space and doubling of productivity can typically be achieved by comparision with conventional adhesive or joining systems. Typical applications are Furniture, Window, Doors, Automotive and Aircraft Interiors, Boat Trim, Signs and Displays etc.

2-Component structural adhesives provides quick, economic, clean, precise processing and quick set-up times. A typical system comprises of: 2 Part manual (or pneumatic) applicator gun, two-component adhesives in double cartridges (as above) and static mixing nozzles. The adhesive can be applied at selected points or in a continuous bead. Dosing, mixing and application are all achieved in one action, delivering constant, defined quality. Structural adhesives achieve permanent high strength bonds with many materials such as glass, ceramics, wood, technical plastics and rubbers.
